Here are six gambling themed routines that have emerged from my Riverboat research.
Casperian Poker: Aces vanish from four packets and appear at will and at your fingertips. This is a very visual handling that, if you can deal a passable Second Deal, you're golden. If not, this may be a good place to start.
Marked Second: The power of combining marked cards and the Second Deal is demonstrated in this kick and punchy routine. Utilizes a little known Hamman technique.
BONUS: A logical way to get into the Open Travelers.
Kicker Topsy-Turvy Aces: Here Steve takes an easy version of Marlo's Topsy-Turvy Aces and adds the powerful addition of keeping a stack. This should fool the wise ones.
Push-Through Poker: This is a combination of the classic Push-Through Failure and a poker deal that is a Semi-Automatic stunner that is easily and quickly reset.
On Marlo's Gambling Routine: Detailing Marlo's classic routine from his 1947 Spade book along with Steve's additions which lead to a New Deck Order finale.
New Orleans Lesson: This is a re-do of Terry LaGerould's Las Vegas Final Exam that streamlines and adds additional effects for a perfect "middle game" story-based trick.
