I’d like to highlight Output 14, a booklet built entirely around twisting effects.
The booklet contains 11 items, each exploring a different approach to the twisting plot—how these effects are structured, refined, and strengthened for clarity and impact.
One section of the booklet examines Ed Marlo’s letters and explorations, offering insight into how he approached a card problem: identifying weaknesses, applying finesses, and shaping strong visual magic through careful thought rather than excess method.
Alongside this material is my professional version of Twisted Collectors, a twisting effect I use in real performance. It reflects the same practical mindset found throughout the booklet—direct construction, motivated handling, and solutions designed for real audiences.
Output 14 is not about novelty. It’s a focused study of twisting effects—how they work, how they fail, and how they can be improved.
